Re: This can only end poorly
Got a buddy who used to have a C6 that he sold to buy a merc. Was going through his garage and found an unopened mightymouse catch can. Going to let me have it for $50. They are almost $300. Not something I really need but why not for that price.

Nice. For that price you can't argue. If I was buying though I prefer an air oil separator.

Was also given a free "blackout" kit for my emblems when I bought the new replacement front air dams - don't have pics of the dams but it is nice to have them back on. Car looks better with them I think.
These are basically just pre-cut tint pieces. Not sure if I like them or not, but they will stay on for now.

Kind of makes me want to do something with the taillights, but they will stay as they are for now.

Replacement intake arrived in perfect condition after ups destroyed the last one. Put it on last night. If it gets warm enough I might take it out today. Need to adjust headlights yet.

Took it out today. Omg. So much fun. All the work (intake, exhaust, plugs, wires, tune, tires, etc) and it's like an entire different car.
Drove around with the windows down enjoying the exhaust.
That said it could use a little more power eventually. Going to start saving for a supercharger system.

Went from meh to in love with it today.

Isn't is amazing how fairly minor stuff can make such a big difference? I think a big part of it is the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

It's part of the reason why non of my vehicles have ever remained stock. Making it your own makes it special.
