It does in the images but in person it wasn't nearly as bad. I hate the big black overkill winch bumpers. Only other option is really the hidden system from warn which moves the front bumper really far out giving it a huge underbite look.

Can get factory fuel tank skid plate and brackets for $500. Can't decide if worth it for that much. Cheaper than I have seen in the past, but also kind of want something custom made that would be stronger.

Re: Fix Or Repair Daily
Was able to get one of these online for $500 shipped.
https://www.barricadeoffroad.com/produc ... uper-duty/
It has all the mounting hardware but needs to be repainted. Has some scuffs and paint is chipped in some spots. But otherwise in good condition.
Now just need to get a winch for behind it.

Tough call. I can get a new badlands 12k winch - no sales right now - or a used m-1200 warn for about the same price.

Have my bumper sitting in the garage. Winch on the way.
Need to find someone to install them since arms are useless.
Still going back and forth on if I want intake and exhaust then retune it.

Debating and pulling a Coop

I will be running a sound system, winch, airbag system, and LED lights. A 2nd battery wouldn't be a bad idea as well as a possible alternator upgrade.

Re: Fix Or Repair Daily
That seems kinda pricey.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

It is but I can't find any other options.
Re: Fix Or Repair Daily
Ford never offered a factory dual setup for your model? That's what Coop keeps trying to duplicate. The factory battery tray for his truck is stupid cheap. Like $20 or $30 if I remember correctly.

The only info I can find is on one they did they moved/used a different air intake. So ends up being expensive as well.

With the dual battery:

What mine looks like:

You can see the air intake on mine goes to the drivers side but on the dual battery it goes to the passenger where the current battery is in mine. Not an easy drop a new tray in project.

That looks like a totally different model. Coolant bottles are different, dipstick location, intake, ECU connectors, PS reservoir...

That is what I am trying to say. Everything changes. Can only find a couple of posts online where they even talk about having that option. Changes everything. So expensive.

No good cheap option. It would be cheaper to put in a bigger alternator instead. Only has a 150 in there now. Can get a factory 200 or aftermarket 320 for less than the cost of that kit.

Just realized that those pics are one from my kind and one from the 17+ years. Thought I was looking at the same forum, wasn't.
So ya, not good cheap option unless I put one under the truck in a custom box or in the bed or something.

Leaning alternator because it is not like I won't be running the truck while I am running the electric parts. I have the money to do both, but not sure if worth it. Would be close to $1500.
