The father in law isn’t a real big talker. But hasn’t said anything about this model A since I got the trailer. Really making me think if he was second guessing or something.

Finally the wife talked to him when I wasn’t around. He’s excited about it, and knows I will get it up and running. He should since I’ve taken two of the things he had that didn’t work and made them work.

So I was happy to hear that but apparently now they are planning things to do with the damn car without even knowing if the tires hold air. Now they want the car to make a stop off at their downtown building for a photo op. It’s gone as far as getting clothes that look era correct and pay a real photographer.

I get we don’t know how long it will take for me to get this thing running. But I’m going to have to park my daily driver outside while I swap around cars to work on the model A downstairs. I DO NOT want that for long. So wait just a little. Let me drive it there.

Oh well.

Right. Like….I’m not gonna be chill till this thing gets to my house and in my downstairs garage. Know how I got my broken vr4 down there? Tied a strap to it and to the Tahoe. Drove it up the hill to my upstairs garage. Pushed it into the garage. Backed the Tahoe out. Pushed the vr4 around till it started going down the hill to the downstairs garage…hooked the Tahoe back up and eased the vr4 in. Now the vr4 had brakes but weighed a lot more. And the Tahoe was like a 2000 model. This whole thing is not gonna be fun.

Shit you're gonna need 3 lockers and portal axles. Possibly even dual transfer cases.

In all honesty I wish I had a winch on the front of the avalanche. Would just be able to easily lower it down.

Substitute a come-along and some chains or straps?
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

I really might. Already have a come-along. We will see.
