Brakes on the vr4 done.

Really need an alignment. Arnt there people that come to your house or something with scales and everything to do sports alignments? I feel like I’ve seen those on some YouTube/Facebook videos. I would love to get one of them. Is that really a thing?

Do brand new brakes not stop well till seated?

Still not impressed with the stopping power. It’s just not what it use be. That’s all I want, not wanting more than what it was.

I mean….I’ve swapped tons of pads and never bleed them. I have great peddle pressure. You think they need to be bleed still?

Bed, not bleed. Though a brake fluid change is never a bad idea.

I did some like that but I think I need more. I was looking at them and you can tell it just hasn’t seated yet. I honestly am very easy on brakes. I use engine braking a lot, lots of coasting, just light peddle pressure on all my vehicles. It’s rare I have to engage brakes hard. But I need to in order to get these better.

When my failed big brake kit was put back to stock I replaced the wheel bearing on the drivers side. I had two oem wheel hubs for the front. Don’t know why I didn’t do the other side as I swapped out rotors so it’s pretty easy at that point. Anyways. Last couple times driving it I could hear going around corners the far wheel bearing grinding and I had a little play. So today I swapped out passenger side.

Wheel on I had some up down movement.

But when I got the bearing off I can’t feel any movement in it, is that normal?

About half way through yesterday my leg really started to hurt. I was confused for quite a while on why. Then it occurred to me….my leg hurts from my clutch. Lol. Mines vac assisted and never really bothered me before but guess so much time not driving it and then back to driving it in traffic for the extended time did it.

Matter of fact, it actually really pisses me off when people don't use cruise control, because they can never maintain a constant speed (even if you say you can, you can't).

I can see not using it in a big city but elsewhere it makes everyone else’s life so much nicer.

Not sure why adaptive cruise makes a difference why you would use it versus why you wouldn't. I understand the benefits of adaptive cruise, but only 1 of our vehicles has adaptive cruise, and I still use it all the time in our other 2 vehicles.

Only time I don't use it is when I'm in heavy traffic, or on neighborhood type streets. 40-50mph 4 lane with a left turn lane type street, I definitely use it.

Your right I can’t. But I like to speed up a little going down hill, not downshift and ride out an uphill. So nope, I don’t have any intention on staying the same speed. I have intentions on driving.
