Dealer says I'm #6 in line now. Guessing about a month for when I need to have my final order in, and then maybe another month or two for them to build it. So maybe arrival sometime in May. I can only hope. They've shut down the plant a few times for supplier shortages - before it was electronics, now it is transmission parts. Hopefully just short delays.

Dang. How long have you been on the list? Will this one be supercharged?

I put down my deposit about a year ago. Not supercharged, though if something happens and I wouldn’t get it until late summer then maybe I would wait longer for a Z06 (still not supercharged, but 600+ hp). I really don’t need a Z06 though.

Procharger is making a supercharger kit, but I don’t think it will fit on the convertible, as their intake plenum sits up higher in the coupe, but I’m sure someone will make a kit eventually that will.

Any idea the price difference in all of them? Or is that something that will be different per dealers.

Nobody knows the pricing for the other models until they are officially announced, but I'd say probably another $10,000 - $15,000 over the Stingray for the Z06.

I think the guess is like 88k MSRP for the z06.

Im really hoping to pickup a c8 z06 in a year or two, or a C7 ZR1.

$28k over the Stingray is a big jump, but that could be correct as the Z06 will probably come with more of the options by default.

Yeah, I think this is probably exactly it. How many bare bones C8's do you think Chevy has sold? I bet the average price is more around $75-80k anyway for a C8.

Saw one of these shooting down the road yesterday. Looked good from the front. Sounded decent too.

I've seen some bare-bones ones delivered, but the rumor is that Chevy loses money on every one of those. They depend on the options to make it profitable.

My convertible will be about $92k, so it is easy to ramp up the cost for sure.

If you want the C8 Z06, I hope you put down a deposit a year ago or so.

Hopefully should have it in a month or two now. My order is submitted to be produced.

Isn't there even more delays though due to more part shortages? Or have they finally started production again?

There is a global microchip shortage impacting production on just about everything. Ford is apparently partially completing F150's and will be going back later to finish them when the parts become available.

They've had some component shortages that affected Corvette production, but as far as I've seen they have been relatively short (less than a week) in duration. Hopefully everything can keep up at this point.

Drove next to one for about 10 min today on the freeway.

Definitely a badass and cool looking car. Still not sold on the idea of it being a corvette.
