Detailing buffer

Post by DCIV »

Whatcha got? I am going to do the wife’s Tahoe with a 3 step paint protection and finish it off with a ceramic coat. I have seen everything from angle grinders to special detailing ones. Anyone ever use one? I tried a buffer once....wasn’t a fan.

I just picked this up. I figured I’m gonna do my RS, my Stealth, and my wife’s car. Then basically not ever use it again so I was good with this one.

The Porter Cable one is the one Rob Latham recommends too, if you're going to do more than a few vehicles anyway.

I'm rocking the griot's 6". Done everything with it from clay, light polish, wax, and even after color-sanding new clear.
