Tried running the ac today in the 100* weather. It doesn't just blow warm, it blows hot. I know next to nothing on ac systems. Time to get to learning.

They really aren't that hard honestly. Get a set of gauges, and either rent a vacuum pump or buy one from harbor freight.

Yea needs a charge. If they still blow coolish you can top them off but if it’s hot you likely have air in the system.

Wifey said we should sell the XJ and buy a YJ or early TJ.
She wants to be able to take the top/doors off.
I told her we should buy a t-top camaro/firebird or targa top vette. She was not amused.

Once the truck is fixed we might be thinking about. Right now I have to daily the Jeep but it would be nice to unload it.

Re: Jeep Stuff
There is a bunch of stuff I would/should do before I would sell it though. Toss the stock radio back in. Remove sub/amp. Take off the winch. Replace the front seats. Maybe fix a/c.

With 2 people a 3rd vehicle comes in real handy. If one is getting fixed or even just service. Its nice to have that 3rd vehicle.

Re: Jeep Stuff
Exactly. If we unload the jeep we would look at possibly getting a different 3rd vehicle. Or just rent stuff when needed. Going to look at costs. If it's down a day or two, renting is fine. But weeks and then it gets really expensive.

Man its good for those dead battery mornings, those flat tire days, those days when shit pops up that you cant get a rental car days.
Especially if you have anything with any sort of high miles.
