Cleaning the kept parts

Post by DCIV »

Minus taking parts to get hot tanked, what’s the best way to clean bigger items I want to keep. I have some valve covers, a transmission case, and other stuff that I don’t think sandblasting is best. I use to use a tub, a lot of degreaser and a plastic brush. Is it worth getting a hot tank? Taking it somewhere?

Thoughts?

Take it to the car wash and use the wand on it.
