Remote Starts

Post by Duck Vader »

Who has had aftermarket ones and what do you have to say about them?

Debating on getting one for the XJ. Don't need keyless entry or anything like that. Don't have power door locks or windows anyway. Just would like a remote start where I can keep the jeep locked while it warms up on these cold and icy mornings.

Was thinking Viper, but anything else worth looking into?

Had one on my crv, I would have one on every vehicle if I could. I love them and use them.

Never had an aftermarket one. Hell the Volt is probably the only car I've had with one. Barely used it as it's in the garage, but the jeep is outside.

Don't like them they encourage you to waste gas idling, and idling is hard on the car and the environment.
