Yea, saw that one too. Even less than your other one. Has everything you want. Just pay more for it. :)

Yep, although I'm still over reacting. The reality is I probably have some bad contacts I can get to and clean in the actuator motor. I don't think the motor is seized because I can still get to 4Hi.

Are you really considering a new vehicle or is this day dreaming.

I get what you are saying, but it does mostly meet my needs. As for the issues I'd expect a 100k mile Ford to have some issues too.

Mostly daydreaming. I like the idea of a newer better driving vehicle though.

Even though the 4x4 system seems to be working normally again I still stopped to drive this today, https://www.carmax.com/car/17902474 I definitely like it, the 6.2 sounds great and in a F150 it gathers speed effortlessly. Great torque everywhere without waiting for it to spool the turbos. Still the price is high given the mileage and the year. If it had 20-30k less miles for that price I just might have done it :runaway:

Owning a 3.5L EcoBoost V6, the turbo lag is minimal, like basically zero. :d ontknow:

How many miles have you put in since you got it? You were all about fixing it all and maintenance....seriously, what changed? Fix it, I wanna see 300k.

Right I know, but there is a noticeable difference between nearly zero and actually zero.

Part of it is the lack of a spare car now that I've sold the Miata.

I would have to agree. I never noticed it in our work trucks. Slightly faster than the 5.0 and I really like that motor.

I sooooo want a 3.5 ecoboost to daily now that I don’t have to drive a lot for swimming. It’s almost worth selling the escape and avalanche and getting a nice one.

Even the 2.7’s are hot little boosted v6’s. I’m very surprised by what ford has done with those motors. Long term I like the simplicity of the 5.0 a little more but they both are great.

Right I'm talking about the difference between instant and a half second of hesitation. It's a super subtle difference. 99% of the time you'd never notice it. I'm not remotely saying it is a problem, because it's not, and for the fuel economy penalty of thr 6.2 the 3.5 is probably the way to go.

Trying to get that Baja still, needs a bit of work but should be golden after a new transmission and proprt MLS headgaskets.

This is a sentiment I cannot share. Especially after driving one. It has 51hp more and 54lb-ft more torque. Both are noticeable.
