I have the self healing as well. It does well for most small rock, but it wont stop the larger ones as i have a spot or two where it just poked a hole through it and into the paint.

I like it for my truck because the front end is more vertical than a car and takes impacts head on. Im sure slanted hoods would fare better.

I'm guessing you actually take yours away from well paved roads more often than most too.

Not too often. I try to save those kind of trips for the work truck. I don’t care what happens to it.

You were partially correct. Last job paid me to drive my own truck so I bought the ram. New gig gave me the F-250.

Found the 5 minutes to remove the interior door panel helped A LOT with the challenges of getting it on without wrinkling. Didn't even need to unplug the harnesses. Just left the cover sitting on the door sill to hold it out of the way.

Yeah touchless washes actually work now! Royal Farms gives a huge discount in gas if you use their car washes so it's been worth while.
