They don’t make a cover for the back?

Nothing factory I am aware of. Not that I have seen anyway. Big open area. Some custom work I have seen.

Quick google search shows apparently they were a thing? Never saw one before. Would be cheaper to probably make my own.

Pvc with a wooden top about half way tall of the compartment that you could put stuff on sounds like an amazing option.

Built one for the LJ out of some old plywood before. Might see about buying some cheap particle board and PVC piping or something. Problem is the spare. It is too big to fit in the stock location and just sits in the cargo area right now. Need to come up with a solution to that as well. Wife thinks a roof rack and put it up there but that kills the already poor MPG. Really don't want to spend big $ on a rear bumper with carrier either.

I thought it was going to be like the retractable ones from the 96 and older ones. I can make one of those for cheap from work.

I’m not sure what all options there were but that is mine. Works just fine for my needs...along with the factory tint.

I have 0% tint. Would really like some, but not sure I want to spend nearly $400

I will look into that. Never did my own tint before. Relatively easy?

On flat windows yeah its not bad. You also have easy access to all the windows. Only suggestion is to remove door panels before you try to do the door glass.

We used the ebay precut on a few of my cousin's cars and even did my uncle's Tacoma. When we first started on the Tacoma I could see right away that the door panel was going to cause an issue and my cousin insisted he didn't want to take the panel off. We fought it in place, but it took longer than it should have for just one window. I told him we WERE taking the next one off and it went on so easy.

It took less time to take the panel off, place the tint, and put the panel back on than what it did to do the first one where we left the panel on.

Just watch a few videos, its really not hard.

Yeah, pretty easy, I would order two kits just in case. The first two windows I did suck, but it got better as I went. For $30, shit can stay on there lol.

And it's broke again. First longer drive and boom.

Oil pressure guage went to between 0 and 10 while at idle while driving. Should never drop below 13. Still drove fine and checked the oil when I got home. No leaks and oil looks good. Might be a sending unit or oil pump problem. So ya... Until I figure that out no way we can take it to Sisters, OR next week. Looks like the volt or kia will have to take the mountain pass.
