minimum down was 2k, and that got me 430-450+/mo in payments. That was with X-Plan.

Nope.

They also wouldn't really show me any 2018's, tried pushing me into the 2019s.

It's sad because I know this game, and I know the options the cars have, and I know... well pretty much a lot about Ford cars coming out now.

They really cant entice me with stuff. I mean they just called me up and asked why I didn't buy a car, and I straight up told them your cars are too expensive for what I'm getting.

yup.... I am serious, the more you look the more upset you will get. I hope you find the perfect vehicle but honestly the used car market is stupid right now, which is making new cars stupid priced. Its all gonna be a big problem in the future.

To my old Edge?

I like it a lot, it is much much quicker off the line and in traffic. The exhaust note is a bit much, but I enjoy it. And the fuel economy is a bit better, I assume AGS and the car being a bit lighter helps some.

The seats are much more comfortable too with leather/suede inserts, I'm going to have to figure out a method for cleaning them that wont fuck them up.

It has all the same comforts of my old edge, and I liked that car a lot- in fact I might have even kept my old one if it wasn't a lease but it was a bit of a dog- but a really comfortable highway cruiser. This just doubles down on all the things I liked about it.

It has all the ADAS stuff that my old Fusion had, so that's nice- also the park yourself feature, which isn't so great (I need to play with it more) and a front camera (which I never thought I would need, but has been nice for parking).

I liked it better than the BMWs I drove, it's much nimbler steering and the throttle response as you TIP in is so much better than the X1.

It has ~315/320 HP which puts down about 250 to the wheels. It's plenty quick. Although I've been wanting to add things to it already, but I feel like I shouldn't since it's a lease. I really want to buy a tuner and put the 93 octane tune in it, since that's the only fuel I plan on putting in it and that nets about 70-100 HP gains- which is insane to me that we detuned them that much.

The reviews are spot on about it, it's not super high end enough to compete with a Lexus RX in terms of luxury. And not super sporty enough to compete with a BMW. So it's a bit of an inbetweener.

I leased, and the payment was similar to what I had before and 0 dollars down (well technically ~300 or so, but that's fine).

So, you're right- thrown out fiscal responsibility for just a little while longer. I deleted the 21" wheels and panoramic moonroof my old one had, mainly because I curbed the fuck out of the 21" ones (these have 20" chrome with thicker tires, thank god). And that big ass sunroof is nice, but not when it's hot as fuck down here 4 months out of the year.

And it's a 2018 Sport, I'm hoping that I'm in a better position in 3 years to take a stab at the 2019 ST- it's a V6 2.7L TT with AWD 6 Speed. The next gen is going to have some neat shit on it from what I was told when I visited my Ford friends.

Ironically the guy tried selling me a F150 for 340 a month with nothing down, it was a SuperCrew XL cab, which gave me a full sized back seat but without 4 doors. I think it was a V6 3.3L (not V8 and not TT), and had cloth. The idea of a truck seemed so cool, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I wanna tuneeeeee itttt.

It's a lease.

Bad ideas around.

Although my friend did tell me don't fuck with it unless we give you something to fuck with it.

So maybe I do that.

Nice work. It was 2016 when we looked at the Edge Sport with the 2.7 TT and we were very surprised. If it had a 3rd row we would have purchased it. That car was so quick and really liked to bite in the turns. Congrats on a really fun car.

I cannot imagine needing a 3rd row.

Then again, I cannot imagine needing to change a diaper.
