I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

The “super bird” yeah, that’s a great one. I wish nascar still had to race cars we could buy. I think cars would get super cool.

Jeff Dunham (the "I keeell you" ventriloquist comedian) was just on Jay Leno's Garage with a Superbird. It was really nice. And a little odd hearing him talk about something in a serious way after only hearing his comedy before.

To a degree they do, but not to the extent that they had to back then. I agree, at least 500 people would get a $500k+ car for $50k or so. That would be a lottery I would be interested in!

Plymouth Superbird was 1970. Different car all together, but still a B body. Just as bad ass of cars.

That's one of the things I loved about the way the Continental Tire Sports Car series was. The GS and ST classes were basically production cars with limited modifications to the chassis and engine allowed. The GT4 spec cars are still very close to production cars but the new TCR class is nothing like the street car.

Right. Make them safe. Change exhaust and intake. Port the engine, blue print it bla bla. But same block and crank. Same metal body. Same trans.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. 707 hp, AWD so I guess you could try to drive it in the snow, enough seats to haul the wife and kids, and rated to tow 7200 lbs.
