Apparently. Though I saw this at Home Depot on Sunday and had to park the Legacy Wagon next to it.

The older I get the more I wouldn’t mind driving a caddy. Sucks I made fun of my dad for the past 15 years over them.

Why not a Miata? Every Chris should have one? And I challenge you to beat Chis to a final decision. ;)

That BMW X1 is ticking a lot of boxes for me.

Just make sure you get a good warranty if you go that route. Maintenance is a bitch let alone if something breaks. Then again, you probably are already aware of this fact.

Seems to be better than average reliability from what I was looking at over the weekend, and has some really neat creature comforts.

And they can be had for relatively low milage and relatively cheap.

I can tell you the Colorado ZR2 is out, I just don't need that much truck.

Although it would be awesome.

Yes they can be reliable, but when shit goes, it is more expensive.

Looked into these for a while. Yes they are fairly reliable, seems most issues are found out in warrante. Problem I found is that you can get the x28 which is the 4 cyl turbo or the x35 which is the 6cyl turbo. Once I found out there was a 6....I couldn’t look at the 4 anymore and the price kept going up. Lol

Coop

Edit. For reliability the wastegates on the turbos would carbon up and cause them to leak and not hold boost. Also a plastic tensioner in the timing chain can break and cause havoc. Those were the two big issues I found.

You might be thinking X3, the X1 only comes with a turbo 4 I believe.

CarMax is pretty awesome when you are looking for something fairly specific. You can search a wider radius and then have the car brought to you for free or for a nominal charge. On the flip side their prices are a little higher than other dealers.

Carmax is great for finding what you want. Not sure if I would buy from them, but being able to take a look at a bunch of stuff without the typical used car dealer hassle is nice.

Proven engine and transmission with a lot more power. I wanted one of those at about 50k miles.
