You know why I'm not buying a 'cheap' SL65 AMG?

Stuff like $1200 coil pack assemblies. The engine has 2. God only knows what I'd need to diagnose and repair that roof...

I've loved that car since it came out. Mercedes ruined it with the latest facelift. I'd buy one of these tomorrow if the thought of doing even minor repairs on it didn't fill me with a cold pit of dread.

Yea. Everyone on the mercedes forums swears by it. You can even get the software to reprogram lots of stuff on the car. I'm not sure anyone has really gotten into engine tuning with it. But, from what I hear, it's basically the same software the Mercedes engineers use to program everything in the car.

Hmm. Got some links to that? More for curiosity than anything else. I briefly looked into getting some tools for my in-laws' E320 and E300 and it seemed like the amount of options were pretty confusing and expensive.

1991 Alfa Romeo SZ - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-alfa-romeo-sz-2/
Can somebody please tell me why I have a soft spot for old Alfas?

2005 Noble M12 GTO-3R - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-noble-m12/
Despite the ridiculous rear wing this would be fun!

2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 6-Speed- http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2004-dodge-ram/
454 miles.. I really hate seeing cars that aren't driven. Drive them! That is what they are made for!

1995 Acura NSX Targa - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-acura-nsx-6/
Same as above.. 7K miles? Ridiculous! I do know there are some NSX fans on here though..

1972 BMW 2002tii AC Schnitzer S14 Custom - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-bmw-2002tii-11/
This.. this is just beautiful. I want. Please. Gimme!

1993 Mazda RX-7 - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1993-mazda-rx-7-10/
Note often you see an unmodified FD these days.

1980 Chevrolet Corvette 6-Speed - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1980-c ... orvette-3/
Wow. Ok. I might want this one over the BMW. Maybe. Love the color and the LS2.

2006 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG - http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-m ... -cl65-amg/
Still like these but the maintenance scares the bejeezus out of me...

It sold for $32,500. That's about right. There was one for sale here locally at a dealer for $20k recently.

It wouldn't surprise me if Hans bought that Spyder. Should be an easy fix.
