Riding home from work tonight....

Post by GTO Assassin »

and I had a fire truck and cop cars raced passed me. Mind you, this is at 11.30pm at night so not much in the way of traffic. Anyways, I get up the hill and there is a blue 06 STI Rex parked INTO a set of traffic lights, with part of it's rear left side missing. I couldn't see any other car at the scene and just thought it must have been minor. But then I ride about 30 meters past the Rex, and see a complete wheel & tyre as well as an axel sitting by themselves in the middle of the road, plus a trail of debris. This guy must have been moving along. I don't have pics as the Wogs here are mental, and the cops were everywhere. But just seeing that wheel and axel laying upright in the middle of the road some distance from the car at rest was a little disturbing. Maybe it will be in the news tomorrow.

Street racing incident?

So the rex was on the side of the road, and up from it was its axels and wheel/tire? Wow, what happened to the other car then?

Wog : person of Mediterranean origin. A milder insult than the same word in the UK and perhaps elsewhere.

I never did find anything out. Crashed rex with a missing wheel. Sorry, I got nothing else. Must have just been a straight forward accident.

We call Italians, Greeks etc Wogs. It's a little racist, and I never say it to them. We just say it around all us skippy's. (What the Wogs call us Aussies)

The driver could be alright, those WRX's seem to fair pretty damn well in accidents. Although 4 kids did just die in an accident in a WRX about a month ago.
hmm, better to see that than bodies laid out in the road covered in sheets like I saw a few years ago thought.

To true Devon. It didn't look like anyone was seriously injured. The cops were hanging back and NOT blocking the streets off and setting up detours. I'd really like to know how he crashed so late in the night with little to no traffic.
