If the engines were a little cheaper and more easily available, it might be fun to play with. But at the current price points, it's not worth it.

Sorry, it's a 6G74 GDI. Not 72.

Anyway....look at this and tell me tuning will be 'easy'.

Those are the intake ports. In the middle of the head...

LOL I'm more efficient than Beetlejuice. Only gotta say it once.
I like my 13t's and E85. Only thing I'm going to do, is when it's time for the timing belt to be done, I'm gonna pull the motor and put new rods and wrist pins in. Probably will upgrade to DR650s at that point. Go for that 480-500whp mark and be done. Should be plenty reliable as long as I take care of it, and don't make the tune too crazy.

Props to the guy for the work of doing the swap, but I agree it is pointless.
If you can easily run e85 I would just go for 750s. Give yourself some room to go further. I can only go so far with the amount of meth I am spraying.
I like that I build a car for Emilie, Toni copies Emilie, and you copy Toni. My investment in her car has almost paid for itself. Although she doesn't have a driveshaft yet, but you guys do! SUCKERS!
LOL She also doesn't have a 96 wing, HID popups, meth, so your move :suspect:

Yeah thinking about it, but trying to justify the extra $1,000!

I have a meth kit for it. HID popups are no longer unless I just blind people with an H4 conversion. I refuse to spend ludicrous money on a spoiler that blocks your vision :p

The 3-piece spoiler is way worse for blocking vision. The 96 Stealth wing is barely any different from the 91-95 as far as visibility.

I disagree. Maybe we just sit different in the car.

You have a picnic table fit for midgets sitting on your trunk lid. Your opinion is invalid. :p

If I could get around my guilt, the whole car would get a 98 conversion.

I must be really odd... I dislike the 97-98 body style and the hideous hoop spoiler :runaway:

Considering I've owned a 96 R/T... and every model with a hoop spoiler, I'm going to disagree with you :p . The hoop blocks stuff you really don't need to see. The 96 spoiler blocks out everything that is immediately behind you.

Or you could...you know....buy a 98. Or even a 97 and just do an electrical conversion.

Didn't Lat42 just begin the initial stages of production again...I saw something posted on their facebook page just the other day. Seems like they will be available again soon, and when they are I'm going to pick up a set!

I'm done buying/selling cars. Besides there's no one who will pay me what the 99 is worth. Combined with the sentimental value of the car, its here to stay.
