Don't hold your breath on that one. Nelson's going to have a 4.x block, but don't expect anyone else to for quite a long time. Ray gave up on the idea a while ago. There just isn't enough money going into this platform to support the R&D and production costs.

In the end, it's still a 91 VR4. No engine, trans, turbos. Right there is around $15k worth of parts, plus the labor needed to put it all together and more tuning. That car would turn into a $45k+ project REALLY fast. He would be better off selling it as a turn-key car like DR would do... but then he probably wouldn't sell it after it was done.

The way i see it is, Its just a flashy vr4 shell/interior now. Yeah Ray owned it but in a few years when he has left the platform, Whats that going to mean? Its not even the same car as the one that was making almost 1000hp on the dyno so why 20k? Just my opinions so dont flame.

Because of all the other parts including the expensive paint. It isn't worth $5.32 because 3SI owners are cheap pricks.
