well, aside from the ongoing IRTB project, i need to finish up the custom vinyl work on the interior to go from black to tan+black.

just won this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... otohosting

and I have used koni adjustable dampers on the way as well as FatCatMotorsports bump stops.

this weekends goals are finishing the vinyl and a DIY front lip.
You gonna go with the ebay FMIC / ebay piping or the big $$ HKS or Greddy kits? Why?
Doing it exactly like Troy did. I saw his thread this morning, talked to him for a little bit, and now I'm doing it, haha. I'll sell my side mounts, type s, and DNP y-pipe and come out about even. I'll spend maybe $50-100 more at most.

As for why......no reason really. Just want a front mount as stupid as that may seem, haha.

Yeah, I'm going to see what his look like after he drives around with it for a while. It's a lot hotter down here than in Colorado, so if he's having issues then I'm not going to do it.

The DSMs are perfectly fine for what I have, and it helps add to the sleeper look (if these cars can even have that), but we'll see.

On the Internet they say, "You never get this! You never get this!" But then one day they all met in Cali and they get this.

On my base:
Finish up bondo work
sand
grey primer
possibly flat black

Got almost all of the bondo work done, and primered the rear drivers side fender today. Ran out of spray and sandpaper though :\ Hopefully it'll be done tomorrow.

My to do list is pretty short, basically just one full day of car stuff.

1. Fix the oil leak from my front turbo return line. It is more of a seaping, never enough oil to even make a drip, but I don't like any oil coming out of anywhere.

2. Fix my WBO2 wiring, I did it to close to my DP and melted the signal wire a little bit. Going to cut it and make a new harness and reroute it.

3. Install ground wire kit.

4. Install SAFC II

5. Actually feel comfortable to try and boost more than waste gate. haha

6. Fun project that I'm doing over time, converting interior LEDs from amber to blue.

Those steps will complete my current set up. After that I can start building my new set up. .... it never ends.

edit: Grats on the FMIC Eric! I too have no future plans that would require a FMIC (my future plans only require at least some DSM SMIC) but it just looks cool. Some times you have to act like a ricer.

Taj, are you kidding me?! Sanding my urethane crap when I repainted my rear bumper was the biggest pain in the ass. The shit gums up the sandpaper, you've gotta use a new piece every 10 freaking seconds!!
I've got a 6" dual action air sander I've been using with those pads you stick on them. Working hard for 2 days I've only gone through 2 of those sanding pads! Its shocked me too, but it just hasn't been loading up with crap. Mostly just sanding this epoxy repair kit stuff off I've been putting on.
hmmm, 180grit paper

Its my damn compressor thats too small for an air sander.
Did you convert your own DSMs? I have 6 1st gen DSM SMICs, I am trying to decide if I want to convert and sell the other 4 or just say screw it and sell them.
I bought the DSMs from Bob (oohnoo) on 3Si. They're converted with the stock size piping.

Well my car's in pieces now as it's halfway through a clutch job. Gonna tear it apart some more this weekend for some more powdercoat. Then I need to tune it and figure out this idle problem for a third time.
