Why is it some people just can't manage to hold a damn camera still?

Anyway, notice the torque gauge in the center console. That's kind of neat. And I'm loving the direction they're going in with the lighting.

Yeah, the center console does look pretty cool. I'd like to see the main cluster though in person though. I'm not sure if I like the bright multi-color guages behind the steering wheel. Maybe I do, but its too hard to tell from the pics.

Very sweet, assuming that torque gauge is as accurate as the boost gauge in a TT. I wonder if that has been a production concept the whole time or if its just to combat the 1/4 mile track timer in the dash of the challenger. I was floored when I saw a gauge with 0-60 and 1/4mile time info next to the tach. Still loving that Camaro, and Danyel is still telling me I need to trade in my VR-4 on one.

As far as I know, the quarter mile timer hasn't made it into the production Challenger. It was just a fake doodad for the concept car. We'll see in another week when the final car is unveiled in Chicago.

That engine is a 3.6L direct injection V6 from the new Cadillac CTS. 300hp and 268 lb/ft in that car. Should make for quite a nice base model :)

As for trading your VR4 in, good luck with that. I wonder what the trade-in value will be for one by 2010? :(

Trust me I have used that same excuse. The fact the car isnt worth as much on the open market as I have in it. Granted I dont have anything compared to some, but I have put in thousands just to keep it in tip top shape. Car will never be worth as much to a dealer as it is to me. If I got rid of it now and had 40k in ten years to buy it back I would, I am that connected to it. Hell I cant even talk her into letting me use 500 on brake components now that she has it in her head that it will go bye bye.

300hp V6 base isnt too shabby at all.
