yea, not really been looking too hard though. I interviewed for a job at another dealer, they said I had the job, but after all that, I didn't want to commute almost 1/2 hour each way every day, and decided not to take it. My friend Amanda, who used to work at the same dealership I did (she quit for the same reasons as me), is working at another dealership, she said they have some openings. We'll see how things go.

for 3 yrs i commuted 1hr each way for a volunteer job i had....so it cost me $10 a day in gas and tolls...it was all highway driving

30mins is a joke....i drive 1hr each day one way to campus for class

a VERY obvious and disgusting pattern, with a few managers, ranging from the General Manager of the deaership, to the Ford Sales co-manager. ONe of which had 5 previous sexual harassment complaints from previous females employed at the dealer, all of which quit because of him. It's disgusting how that place was/is being run, and I wish I had known enough to document everything along the way.

My friend Amanda has a MUCH better chance of winning a lawsuit against those assholes, because she does have documentation of some of the things that happened, and she asked the other girls to testify if it came down to a lawsuit. She's been in touch with a lawyer who deals a lot with sexual harassment cases, but I don't know if she's going to go through with it all. I wish she would, if nothing else, to get it through those assholes heads that you can't run a business that way and treat employees (not just the females) like complete shit.

I had a hard enough time getting myself to work on time with a 7 minute commute. And after looking into it more, the pay scale was weird, and I just didn't have the desire to work there. I'm looking around at a few more local places, maybe something not car related at all. I dunno, we'll see how it goes.
