I know its beaten to death but I see N/A! supra with 120k plus selling for 12-13grand. Thats the price of a 80k mile second gen vr4. I would much rather have a 2nd gen reletively low mile vr4 then a slow ass n/a supra. Don't even get me started on the TT's with 100k going for 25-30k.

Emilie, have you tried Craigslist? Hell if I were you I'd hit every CL in PA, NYC, Jersey, etc. Get more exposure.

yours is nearly identical to mine, mileage and everything. I saw it listed on e-bay. Glad you finally sold it.

Brian - yea, it's on craigslist. EVERY SINGLE call I've gotten, is asking if Im willing to trade for a built nova, chevelle, etc.

Lowballing gets the worst when you sell it on craigslist. For example, back in November my parents decided to sell their immaculate 1991 Honda accord lx. I mean this thing was mint, my grandmothers car, only 95,000 miles ect.

We got some interseting offers since we first started with craigslist. We were selling it for $2500 on craigslist and heres some of the offers we got:

1) Wood u take $1500?
2) My daughters accord was just broken into will you take $2000
3) I have a Honda 250ex quad and a ps3 will u trade?
4) Will you take monthly payments ect.

Then we got sick of craigslist and put it up for $2100 no reserve on ebay.

We wound up getting $600 more for the car then we asked for on craigslist and we didnt have to ship the car. Its deffinently hit or miss with some cars on ebay though, because there was an accord ex (which is the higher model with leather) with the same miles that sold for $2550. So i guess its really hit or miss.

Its sad to see that not many 3s's are selling on ebay anymore.

you should buy them to have for urself and fix and make them nice....buying to flip is hit or miss...waste of time imo....especially all the things you should replace when buying a tt or replacing a spun bearing engine....most ppl dont replace a bunch of crap that u should....i mean u could buy a spun bearing car but after you fix all the things u should, car is worth more than u could ever get

I've been doing it for the last 3 years or so, and my average PROFIT per car is about $3000. I only have $3k into the car, so I could sell it for $5k and still profit, but I split that 50/50 with Hans, and he won't take 1k for an engine and trans swap.

haha..dont feel bad melis....my car wasn't even for sale, however i entertain offers, and a gentelmen offered me 17.5 for my 22k mile 99.......think how i felt.......so..if that says anything to ya em...ur lucky to get as much as you do!!! 3/s resale is NOT a great way to make money.
