Those who have plows on there Trucks..please step in...

So...im wonder, i just mounted a Snoway 29T on my beat to death 96 tahoe with 100idkhowmanyk miles on it(haven't put the tembrens in yet)....The truck does GREAT!!... However, im VERY disappointed in the proformance of the plow...sucks...never again will i go with a snoway...got the poly-carb skin..(ha..plastic..but actully very light weight)...but its got a 10inch stainless trip-edge on it.......Wireless remote FTMFL!!!....NEVER go wireless...it's a great feature dont get me wrong..when you gotta step outside of the truck to mount the plow..but jesus..im looking for a hard-wired one now.........

So far..western plows ive had the best luck with on my pick-ups....but YET...

6cyl JeeP wrangler sahara edition...with a 6 1/2 foot MeYers blade on it...Easy to manuver(b/c of its small size..it can get anywhere, and turn easy--VERY strong...(suprising)..and you can see well out all the corners of the jeep nicely b/c of the cut style hood in the front..and the short cab in the rear...ur never guessing...wish i never change...

Any others out there??/

I don't have a plow truck, but a few of our customers do.
One guy has one on his old Jeep Cherokee, another has one on his mid 90's ford F series, and another has the same setup on a newer one (late 90's). We just had one guy in who had the mount (but no plow yet) on his mid 90's chevy truck. They all had Fischer plows.

Pretty sure the plows that my father has on both of his trucks are Western Plows.

I was thinking about putting one on my Comanche, but probably won't this winter..

What about if Comanche has 6" lift and 33" tires, differences for snow-plow?

Can't say since Ive never driven em. But theyve had them on there for years so they cant be too bad.

Boss plows are the shit but you'll pay for them (especially the v-blades). Western is probably right behind them if you're looking at a regular one.

With that said I'll never put a plow on any of my vehicles as it beats the crap out of them. If you're putting it on anything less than a 3/4 ton truck you're asking for problems.
