see pics of matt monets stealth, take out roll cage and add stock glass. its gutted. very gutted.

goal is to remove another 100 lbs from it too. cut the door beams out, remove all un-needed wiring (abs, srs, suspension, etc), modify the IC mounting to not use the stock bumper absorbers, lighter seats (sparcos are suprisingly heavy), and a cfds.

Looks like a hell of a build up.
I have some future plans, but everythign is on hold till I decide what to do with myself.

Transmission started slipping out of gear today.
I haven't decided to rebuild it or go MTX yet.

My car is probably going to be busted for a few more years now that I've decided to go ahead and go back to school.

/me just wants a reliable car for once.

Eh 97% city for me 3% twisties. I still wouldn't give up the manual.
I just don't have fun driving unless I've got my hand on a (insert record needle screeching across a record) OK, if I finish that statement, I know I'll be turned into Moff 2.0, so I won't. You know what I mean though.

Re: So... whats in the works?
I have some plans for the car. Some BIG plans. Most will call me crazy or stupid but whatever. If I do it right it will be an awesome build
Basically, the Stealth will always be with me. I am so deep into it that I will never get back out what I have in it. Not that I could sell it anyway.
So yeah, once I get some things in my life straight I am going to start looking for a totalled TT.
From there the engine will be pulled out and completely rebuilt.
Then I will start the AWD conversion. Being I have the entire car and all the wiring I will just swap the body harness. I have pulled one before so I know what I am in for. I can also do the interior however I want being it will be stripped. I will probably cage it while its stripped too. Of course the TT brakes etc will go under it but I will NOT put ABS in it.
From there the engine build will probably be 9:1 with E16G's, fuel I'll decide as I investigate more setups.
This isnt a build I expect to do in a few weeks. I know it will be time consuming but once its done I dont think you'll be able to take the smile off my face.
