Well, so, umm, during my drive from Waco back to Dallas...

Mike and I were chased down by a Decepticon!

Though in reality, is was much, much more painful.

This is what I pieced together from what the 4 drivers involved told me. I'm sure Mike can give more insight into what he personally experienced. I didn't see anything happen as I was a bit behind.

On the 3 lanes of I-35EN The 18 wheeler was in the far left hand lane, Mike was in the center lane, and the M5 was in the far right.

The F150 Truck (whose driver as it turns out, well, she does not have a drivers license:irritated: ) She just got off of work and was in a hurry to pick up her kids. She merges onto the interstate and instead of staying in the right hand merging lane, she decides to cut all the way over to the middle lane which is where Mike is. (according to the driver of the 18 wheeler, she was in a full turn literally in two lanes at this time)

Mike, seeing her come in is trying to giver her as much space as he can without hitting the 18 wheeler, he is on his horn and she does not notice. Mike's rear quarter panel and rear wheel come into contact with the rear 18 wheeler tires. The 18 wheeler's tires try to suck Mike's M3 with them, but thanks to some quick counter steering this is avoided. (why you should all go to AutoXes)

As Mike bounces off of the 18 wheelers rear tires the lady in the F150 finally noticing Mike slams on her brakes while straitening out in the far right lane, (just before she does her front bumper hits Mike's rear end also) the M5 too tries to stop as now there is a F150 locking its brakes up in front of him, but it is to no avail.

Thankfully no one was hurt, but as for some beautiful cars, not so lucky.

The first police officer on the scene was driving something just a little bad ass.

Again, thankfully everyone was okay.

The driver of the M5 was pretty cool and thankfully not too pissed. Him and his passenger both got to ride in the back of a squad car.

Image

In the end the lady driving the F150 received at least 3 citations and was deemed at fault. The quation now, being that she does not have a license, is if her husbands insurance will cover her as a driver on the truck, or will Mike and the M5 owner have to claim it under uninsured motorist.

Drive safe, be careful, and react fast and smart.

The pictures made that so much more enjoyable.

I'm so fascinated with police cars. There's just something about them.

This is the part that absolutely infuriates me. She was uninsured, so who gets fucked? The guy she hit. Again.
She destroys his car, now his insurance has to fix it and I guaran-fucking-tee you that his rates will go up because of it.

So did you know these guys in the M's? or were you just a bystandard who happened to see what went down?

btw..Baricade is fucking awesome. I'd race past a cop just to get pulled over by him and take video! :p
oh, and for the record..Mustang cop cars are leaps and bounds hotter than not-a-charger cop cars.

Sad but true. Also, her insurance claims department is not open on the weekends. WTF?! It is some, I've never heard of insurance company. The F150 is insured, the problem is, she does not have a license.

I'm good friends with the driver of the M3 (Mike). He and I went down to Waco to get our inspections done and see some friends who are still in Baylor. This happened on our way back to Dallas.

The guys in the M5, never met them prior to the crash.

In PA, it's automatic fault if you rear-end someone.
Insurance scams are a big thing around here.. (slamming on your brakes and letting people hit you..)

I think that is mainly from the 18 wheelers testimony. He watched the entire thing in his huge side view mirrors. He helped to tie everyones stories together according to the police officer I was talking to.
I'm just really glad I was not involved.
