That's the issue with OBD2 is you don't see a CE light for a bad sensor, you see a CE light for a sensor that is effect by the RESULT of something else that is wrong...
Try to find someone (be it online or in person) with an electrical repair manual and see if it's of any use at diagnosing your issue. You'd think the dealership would have one on hand, but it's been my experience that it's not always the case.[/quote]
wrong. dpfe on fords 99.999% of the time is a failed sensor.
FOG....its a shame they missed the failed coil. most common cause for a 1 cyl miss on a modular motor.
all the books for all cars list the potental causes for the code. its your job to narrow it down.
in his case if its a p030x its coil, spark plug, coil circuit, ecu, injector, injector circuit, valvetrain, or base engine.
(i do drivability in a dealer and have for 7 years)
